Jabuticaba Essence

Jabuticaba Essence

“I share my deepest feelings with others.”

Latin Name: Myrciaria cauliflora

Link to Chakra: Heart/Throat Chakras

Origin: Minas Gerais, Brazil

Traditional herbal uses:    Traditionally, an astringent decoction of the sun-dried skins has been used to treat asthma, diarrhoea and used as a gargle for chronically inflamed tonsils.  Research indicates that the fruit has several powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer compounds.  The fruit can also be eaten raw or used to make jellies and drinks.

Energetic properties:

  • Recognise and release hurt deep within
  • Renewal of inner joy
  • Unburdening of the soul

Jabuticaba (pronounced jah-boo-chee-ca-bah) fruit, also known as “Brazilian Grapes”, these purple-black fruit with creamy white flesh sprout directly from the trunk and branches of the tree.  It helps us to bring into the light our deepest feelings so that they can be shared with others — as this fruit spoils after a few days, it’s very nature requires that they be shared!
